How would I do this? I can't seem to figure out how to set this problem up.
just divide each term in the numerator by the denominator:
(x^4+5x^3)/(3x^2) = x^4/(3x^2) + 5x^3/(3x^2) = x^2/3 + 5x/3
or,
1/3 x^2 + 5/3 x
