As an individual with experience performing office clerical duties and educated as a Library Technician, I am excited to apply for the position of Data Entry Clerk as advertised on the DC Comics website. I consider that my experience and skills match ver well with your requirements. While I was studying as a Library Technician at Fanshawe College, I discovered my love for data entry and filing. My knowledge of Dewey Decimal came in handy as it helped me to create a comic book cataloguing system which can be adapted for various forms of media. I had my first break in an office environment doing a 6 month volunteer placement at the the London Community Resource Centre and shortly after my 6 months were over, I was asked to come back for an extra month and be a personal Assistant to the Manager while she recuperated from a broken leg. For the last ten years, I have been volunteering at the Military Family Resource Centre as both Administrative Support and being in charge of the Library Resources. Five years ago, I was inspired to add a comic book section to the library when I noticed that several of the kids who participated in the summer programs at the Resource Centre were doing research on Super-Heroes and comic books in general. I talked it over with the staff and got their approval and now there are newarly four hundred comic books of various genres for the kids to enjoy. I enjoy learning new software programs and I know that DC Comics uses a program similar in style to Collectorz. I feel that my unique coding and cataloguing system is what you are looking for.
