I Hate jiskha

i just need someone to answer my question I've been trying to figure it out for an hour

There were an equal number of boys and girls in a school auditorium. After 24 boys left the auditorium, there were 3 times as many girls as boys. How many children were there in the beginning?

its 8

I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way. If you have any specific concerns or issues with Jiskha, I'd be happy to try and address them for you. However, if you simply don't enjoy using Jiskha, there are plenty of other resources available for getting answers to your questions. Here are a few alternatives:

1. Online Forums: There are various online forums where you can ask questions and receive answers from knowledgeable individuals. Some popular examples include Quora, Reddit, and Stack Exchange. Simply create an account, search for relevant topics, and post your question.

2. Tutoring Services: If you prefer more personalized assistance, you can consider hiring a tutor. Many websites and services offer one-on-one tutoring in a wide range of subjects. They can provide individualized support and help you understand difficult concepts.

3. Online Search Engines: Often, a simple search on a search engine like Google can provide answers to your questions. Try typing your question into the search bar and browse through the search results to find reliable sources.

Remember to assess the reliability and credibility of the sources you use to ensure accurate and trustworthy information.

If you read your text and study like crazy, you should be able to learn and find the right answers yourself. Even more important, you should learn to THINK and ANALYZE on your own.

Jiskha is best used by those who just need to check what they already believe is correct OR who truly don't understand something and need an explanation.

Remember that Jiskha tutors do not have access to your text materials. We don't know what they emphasize if there is room to interpret information. We do not "give" answers. Other students often "give" answers, but may well be wrong. You should NEVER rely on others for answers.
