How has the geography of western Europe influenced the growth of large European urban areas?

Please give me some info

And thank u for helping me with my answers :).

It’s the impact urban areas have is the houses provide good income for landlords or people who run those areas *it’s in the E book, trust me another reason is that people work harder and longer to keep their lands there so landlords get even more profit

Because there is a lot of area for farming, European groups were urban and suburban in Europe. Cities tend to grow upward outward instead of upward. They were not near the water and did not grow.

Urban centers rarely are in mountainous areas where travel is difficult, for example, and almost never where there is no water, which is essential to human survival as well as transportation.
