I would use demoiver's theorem, but if you have not had that, I am not certain how to tell you.
That theorem allows you to move 12-10i to the complex plane, solve for the polar equivalent.
Then square root if that is the square root of (244) at an angle half the original, then you convert back to real + imaginary component.
