The traditional method of determining the human age equivalent of a dog is to multiply its age by 7 years. The method we used in this project was to use equations based on scientific data to determine the human age of dogs. In my opinion, the ____________method (equations or traditional) is better because it is more accurate. The _______________ method is not as accurate because the life span of dogs depends on the size and breed of the dog. An example is a ________________________ (large breed) would live about _____________ years and a ________________ (small breed) would live about __________ years. While the ____________ method can be easier and quicker to calculate, the _______________ method is more precise because it's based on scientific evidence and solid mathematical calculations.

In my opinion, the equations method is better because it is more accurate. The traditional method of multiplying a dog's age by 7 years is a rough estimate and does not take into account the variations in the life span of dogs based on their size and breed.

The life span of dogs can vary significantly depending on these factors. For example, a large breed dog, such as a Great Dane, has an average life span of about 8-10 years, while a small breed dog, like a Chihuahua, may live for 12-15 years or even longer.
