G(X) = x^2(1-2x)

I have to differentiate this function

I used the power and product rule

G'(X)= (x^2)'(1-2x)+(x^2)(1-2x)'

I got down to 2x-4x+(x^2)(-2x)

2x-6x^2 which is the answer but what do info with the extra x^2?

?? there is no extra x^2.

(x^2)'(1-2x)+(x^2)(1-2x)'
= (2x)(1-2x) + (x^2)(-2)
= 2x-4x^2 - 2x^2
= 2x-6x^2

(1-2x)' = -2, not -2x

watch the details...
