how do i find the derivative of the function:
f(x) = e^2 + x^e
i just don't know how to go about doing this. any and all help is appreciated.

take it term by term.
the first term is a constant, derivative is zero.
The second term, memorize this...
d/dx (b^x)=b^x * ln(b)
