How far should be an undersea object/rock to hear theacho?Speed if sound in water is 1500m/s.
It is impossible to answer. The way sonar works is that you determine how far away a reflecting object is by the time the pulse takes to get there and back. Without giving the time between ping and return, the question is meaningless.
