Can someone help me plz? Oh and where u see _> the line is underneath the > I just didn't know how to get it under there.

Bobby hopes he will someday be more than 7 inches tall, he is currently 61 inches tall how many more inches, X, does Bobby need to grow to reach is desired height.

x + 61 > 70; x > 9
x + 61 _< 70; x _< 9
x + 61 < 70; x < 9
x + 61 _< 71; x _< 9

A) x+61>70;x>9

...i think

This was left unanswered for 5 years!!!!!:/ ;/

Ok so A? And the difference is 9.

Yes, must grow more than 9 to be more than 70

Merry Christmas btw

I know this was 4 years ago but are u guys ok? Do you not realize that two of the options are exactly the same? B and C? Clearly what she meant to say was B had the same thing only it was the Greater than OR equal to symbol. Not just greater than. Like this:

A, like it should be: x + 61 > 70; x > 9
Now B, like it should be: x + 61 _> 70; x _> 9
THEN C: x + 61 < 70; x < 9
And D: x + 61 _< 71; x _< 9

Kind of weird that a teacher wouldn't realize that don't you think -w-

I’m rlly confused

well, I only see one choice where the result is more than 70; all the rest are less.

Not at all. Which choice has a > sign? He wants to grow "more than" some amount.

And come on, think- the kid is 61 inches tall now. He wants to be more than 70. So, what's the difference?
