I really want #8,9,6,4,7 to be checked. Thank you so much!

1/ Our maid cleaned the top of the counter and looked amid the groceries throughout the refrigerator.

Verb: cleaned, looked CORRECT
subject:'maid CORRECT
phrase: amid the groceries , throughout the refrigerator ,of the counter

'of' is the preposition in of the counter. Do not include 'the top' in your answer because 'the top' is a noun and should not be included in the phrase

4/ 4.) The letters for Lani and Jacy concerning college and regarding admission costs were outside the house in the mailbox.

Verb: concerning, regarding CORRECT but you have not identified all of them
WERE(to be) and IDENTIFIED(to identify) are also verbs

Subject: letters CORRECT
Phrase: for Lani and Jacy, were outside the house in the mailbox ALL CORRECT

8/ Down the slopes toward the Swiss Village came the mountain climbers.

Verb: came
Phrase: down the slopes, toward the Swiss village
Subject: climbers

ALL CORRECT

9.) The matter concerning the parking ticket was decided by the judge at the court on Monday.

Verb: was decided
Subject: judge
Phrase: the matter concerning the parking ticket

A FEW ERRORS HERE
Firstly the subject is NOT the judge your subject is "The Matter"

THERE IS MORE THAN ONE VERB
was decided CORRECT BUT 'concerning' (to concern) is also a verb

Phrase: the matter concerning the parking ticket IS INCORRECT

The prepositions are 'by' 'at' and 'on' . The prepositional phrases are 'by the judge' 'at the court ' and also include 'on Monday'

6.) Do not go past the line until the end of the game
Verb: do go
Adverb : not
Subject: you
Phrase: past the line, until the end of the game
ALL CORRECT

7.) All of my cousins except John went to the zoo without their jackets
Verb: went
Subject: cousins

Phrase: without their jackets CORRECT
however TO is also a preposition you should include 'to the zoo' as is 'of' in 'of my cousins'
