A number is written with the following factorization: 22 X 3 X 54 X 8 X 112. Is this factorization a prime

factorization? Explain why or why not. If it is not correct, give the correct prime factorization of the
number.

so, to get the correct factorization, factor all the non-primes:

22 * 3 * 54 * 8 * 112
= 2*11*3*2*3^3*2^3*2^4*7
= 2^9 * 3^4 * 7 * 11

I respect you trying to help, but that is cheating and yea I'm a student. I'm just here to get help, not answers. But thanks for letting me check my answers cause they are all correct but a few. I'm weird so YEET XD THANKS "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BELIEVE---- (gets cut off)

You are wrong. Those are not the answers AT ALL.

I didn't know

I need help please

Look Princess, we went through this when you were trying to simplify fractions.

22 for example is 2 * 11
2 and 11 can not be factored any further. They are "prime"

then 44 = 2 * 22
that is NOT Enough (not prime factors)
because 22 can be factored as we know
so
44 = 2 * 2 * 11 that does it

now 2*2 is often written as two to the power two
or
2 * 2 = 2^2

so
44 = 2^2 * 11

You dont have to believe me is wrong guys. I saw those answers somewhere else on jiskha and people said that those answers are wrong. Im almost done with the test so im gonna send the answers. The whole test answers

Hey i got half of my question wrong because of this website but i love this website because it helps me a lot thanks guys 🥰😎😎😎😎😎

This is not a prime factorization.  2 is prime, so is 3, and 5, as well as 11, but 8 is not prime.  8 can be broken down into 2^3.

Plug this back in. 2^2 x 3 x 5^4 x 2^3 x 11^2=2^5 x 3 x 5^4 x 11^2

I really just came here to get help with this question. Now i'm just confused.

nobody is answering the question that i looked up, also @RESPECT THE DRIP, K can get off of here because this site is made so people can get better grades but thanks for being a teachers pet. coughs twice "brat" i said nothing...
