What are some of the benefits and pitfalls of the ethnic, language, and religious diversity in Africa?

@teacher

Cheating? She needs help with a question and needs some provided answers, which is the reason why we use this website. If you don't like it, exit off, but this IS NOT cheating. She is learning off of the answers that are given to her. She probably has general ideas for an essay question, but still needs help. How did you even find this website without typing in a question?

@Alex

The school system is bad. You learn a lot of stuff that really never has any effect on your life. Why do I need to know the chemical reaction from inserting this liquid into this liquid. Why do I need to know what the inside of a from looks like? Name one reason I would need to know what the inside of a from looks like? The only subject where you learn what's really necessary is in math. You may need to know what the area of your garden is gonna be and stuff like that, but practically everything in science is only good to know if I become a scentist. I need to be learning how I make a living for myself and how I'm supposed to make money. Not how people 2000 years ago made a living.

Ms. Sue, can you help me please?!

Start with your text. What have you learned from having studied this information?

ok...a negative of the diversity could be that there might be arguments between the different races, religions, etc. This could cause an uproar in the economy. A positive thing would be that people with different races could learn more about each other's religion, culture, etc.

Would that be an acceptable answer? Can u help me brainstorm about more ideas?

Could this count as one?:

another negative could be that one race may think they are more superior than the other, and force their ways of life onto other people.

Those look like good thoughts to me, but I am only a physicist.

Of course I suppose it helps to be able to talk to each other. In the Roman empire no matter what people spoke you could always find someone who spoke Latin for example. Perhaps Swahili or something is a second language for many who speak different languages?

I bet they have different foods and tools, which if they communicate can be shared by all, helping everyone.

That's a good point, thanks! (=
