A quality company verifies 2 shirts from the same box to insure the quality of the shirts that are being sent out. If each box contains 3 small, 4 medium, and 2 large shirts, what is the probability that they will pick the same size shirt for a box?

I am unsure how this problem is worked.

Prob(2same)

= prob(SS) + prob(MM) + prob(LL)
= (3/9)(2/8) + 4/9(3/8) + 2/9(1/8)
= 6/72 + 12/72 + 2/72
= 5/18
