There is a paragragh and I have to circle dependent clauses an underline independent clauses. The paragraph is as follows:

Although some people are afraid of ninjas, since they kill tons of people, I think they're cool. Because Ninjas have so many enemies, they live high up in trees on top of mountains. No one can reach them in their mountain tree forts unless they lower their rope ladders for them. If you tried to climb up a ninja's tree without the rope ladder, you would probably get hit with a million ninja stars. Despite their inhospitable nature, ninjas are usually really nice to children and animals.

Sentence 1-I believe that you would need to circle.
Although some people are afraid of ninjas, since they kill tons of people,
I think they're cool is the part that would need to be underlined.

Sentence 2-Because Ninjas have so many enemies is the part that would need to be circled.
they live high up in trees on top of mountains I believe would need to be underlined because I believe that is the part that is an independent clause.

Sentence 3-I do not feel that anything would need to circled or underlined.

Sentence 4-If you tried to climb up a ninja's tree without the rope ladder,
I believe the above part is dependent so it would have to be circled.
You would probably get hit with a million ninja stars-this part would be underlined because it would be independent.

Sentence 5-Despite their inhospitable nature,
I believe the above part would have to be circled because I feel it is a dependent clause.
ninjas are usually really really nice to children and animals would be underlined because that is an independent clause.

Please be so kind as to let me know if I am right or wrong on each of the sentences and point out any mistakes if any.

3 is a complex sentence and has a dependent and an independent clause.

The rest are right.

Hello Ms. Sue. I think I somewhat get sentence 3. The part then that I would need to circle is-unless they lower their rope ladders for them since that is a dependent clause.

The part that would be independent is-No one can reach them in their mountain tree forts.
Would that be correct?

Ms. Sue may be away for a moment, but you are correct now. :)

Thank you so very much for your time and assistance.

Have a wonderful evening!

You have made some correct identifications, but there are a few mistakes. Here's the correct labeling:

Sentence 1:
Although some people are afraid of ninjas, since they kill tons of people,
"Although some people are afraid of ninjas" is a dependent clause and should be circled.
"I think they're cool" is an independent clause and should be underlined.

Sentence 2:
Because ninjas have so many enemies,
"Because ninjas have so many enemies" is a dependent clause and should be circled.
"They live high up in trees on top of mountains" is an independent clause and should be underlined.

Sentence 3:
No one can reach them in their mountain tree forts unless they lower their rope ladders for them.
This sentence only contains one independent clause, so nothing needs to be circled.

Sentence 4:
If you tried to climb up a ninja's tree without the rope ladder,
"If you tried to climb up a ninja's tree without the rope ladder" is a dependent clause and should be circled.
"You would probably get hit with a million ninja stars" is an independent clause and should be underlined.

Sentence 5:
Despite their inhospitable nature,
"Despite their inhospitable nature" is a dependent clause and should be circled.
"Ninjas are usually really nice to children and animals" is an independent clause and should be underlined.

Overall, you have done well, but there were some misidentifications. Make sure to accurately identify each clause by determining if it can stand alone as a complete thought (independent) or if it relies on another clause to complete its meaning (dependent).
