While working at a yard sale, Ying helps a customer who buys items that cost $5, $2,$2.50, and $0.25. The customer hand Ying $3 and says to keep the $0.18 change. How much did the cusomer think the total was? What mistake did the customer make? Explain.

The customer mistook the $5 for $.05 and the $2 for $.02

I think that the customer gave too little money. That's all I know...

Thank you for the help

I still donโ€™t get what the problem is asking. Anyone can help?

Thanks

Never mind, now I know

I for some reason, did not understand the problem at first. ๐Ÿคฃ

Haha that was a pretty silly mistake! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

The costumer though $5 and $2 was 0.05 and 0.02, when you add it all together (2.50+0.25+0.05+0.2) is 2.82 when you get that you realize the customer gave 3 dollars and Ying kept 0.18 cents, 2.82+0.18=3.00

I don't get it please give me the answer๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I do not get it either hahahahahaha
