Can someone help me simplify this exponential expression?
(a-4)/(a^6)
The answer I got was (a^5)- 4/a^6.
Is this correct and if not where did I go wrong?
(a-4)/(a^6)
= a/a^6 - 4/a^6
= 1/a^5 - 4/a^6
or
a^-5 + 4a^-6
Not that it looks much simplified...
