I am looking for a cool project idea. My last two projects where a website and a diagram. I have run out of ideas.

You could find some of the drawings from his notebooks and see what came of his mental inventions. In addition to being an accomplished artist, he was also into engineering:

"As an engineer, Leonardo conceived ideas vastly ahead of his own time, conceptually inventing a helicopter, a tank, the use of concentrated solar power, a calculator, a rudimentary theory of plate tectonics, the double hull, and many others. Relatively few of his designs were constructed or were feasible during his lifetime.[3] Some of his smaller inventions such as an automated bobbin winder and a machine for testing the tensile strength of wire entered the world of manufacturing unheralded."

You could find some of these drawings and juxtapose them to photos of current realities.

=)

One cool project idea could be to create a digital collection or interactive display that showcases the inventions and concepts of Leonardo da Vinci, comparing them to the modern-day realities. Here is how you can go about it:

1. Research Leonardo da Vinci's inventions: Start by exploring Leonardo da Vinci's notebooks and sketches to get a sense of the innovative ideas he had. You can find his drawings and inventions in books, online resources, or visit museums that have his works on display.

2. Choose specific inventions or concepts: Select a few inventions that interest you the most or resonate with the modern world. This could include his helicopter design, tank concept, solar power ideas, or any other invention that sparks your curiosity.

3. Gather modern-day photographs and information: Collect photographs and information that relate to the specific inventions you've chosen. This can include images of modern helicopters, tanks, solar power systems, or any other relevant technology.

4. Create a comparison: Use a graphic design software, website builder, or even a physical display board to create a comparison between Leonardo's inventions and their modern counterparts. You can juxtapose his original sketches with photographs of the real-life inventions today to highlight the advancements that have taken place.

5. Provide context and information: Add descriptions, facts, and explanations to provide context for each invention. Describe how Leonardo's ideas influenced modern technology or engineering, and mention any limitations or challenges that his designs may have faced during his time.

6. Present your project: Depending on the format you choose, you can present your project as a digital display, a website, a poster, or even in a physical exhibition if possible. Consider sharing it with friends, classmates, or online communities who might appreciate your creative exploration of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions.

Remember, this is just one idea, and there are numerous other project possibilities out there. The key is to find something that aligns with your interests and allows you to explore a new topic or concept. Happy brainstorming!
