What is the approximate temperature of the solution after 1.75 if it is 19 degree celcius at 1.5 and 24 degree celcius at 2.0 minute?

Can anyone say how to do it exactly?

  1. On the assumption - and it IS an assumption - that the temperature is rising at roughly a constant rate, then it ought to be halfway between 19 and 24 degrees (since 1.75 minutes is halfway between 1.5 and 2 minutes), which would be 21.5 degrees. But the phrasing of your question implies that it's actually part of a larger question, so my assumption might not be correct.
