Simplify the algebratic expression below.

-3[(5x-2y)-4(x+y)+2y]-2(8y-3x)

For my answer I got -13x-9y which is wrong because its not in the answer choices.

count the x in the brackest

I get one. Now multiply by -3
now add the +6x in the next term.

count the y in the brackests. I get -2-4+2=4. multiply by -3

Now take the -16 in the second term, and add.
