what are some sources of carbon dioxide?

natural sources:

- burning of fossil fuels
- volcanic eruptions
- decay of plant and animal matter
- resperation

thank you, I just found it before you replied. Now I am looking for health effects. I know it causes global warming, but I am not finding health effects.

- Asphyxiation. Caused by the release of carbon dioxide in a confined or unventilated area. This can lower the concentration of oxygen to a level that is immediately dangerous for human health.

- Frostbite. Solid carbon dioxide is always below -78 oC at regular atmospheric pressure, regardless of the air temperature. Handling this material for more than a second or two without proper protection can cause serious blisters, and other unwanted effects. Carbon dioxide gas released from a steel cylinder, such as a fire extinguisher, causes similar effects.
- Kidney damage or coma. This is caused by a disturbance in chemical equilibrium of the carbonate buffer. When carbon dioxide concentrations increase or decrease, causing the equilibrium to be disturbed, a life threatening situation may occur.

I just copied and pasted this from a site. I don't know if the information is true or not. You`ll have to verify.
I would post the link on here but I don't think we're permitted to do so.

Thank you, I will try and look for the information more, I am having problems though.

try typing something like:

dangers of carbon dioxide to human health

into a search engine

Type in MSD and CO2 into a search engine.

(MSD stands for material safety dats)

Carbon dioxide can be found in various sources. Here are some common sources:

1. Human respiration: When humans breathe out, they release carbon dioxide as a byproduct of cellular respiration.

2. Combustion of fossil fuels: Burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas for energy production releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

3. Industrial processes: Industries like cement production, manufacturing, and chemical processes emit carbon dioxide as a result of various production activities.

4. Deforestation and land-use changes: When forests are cleared for agriculture, urbanization, or logging, the stored carbon in trees and vegetation is released as carbon dioxide.

5. Volcanic eruptions: Volcanoes emit large amounts of carbon dioxide, along with other gases and materials, during eruptions.

6. Automobile emissions: Vehicles that burn gasoline or diesel produce carbon dioxide as a byproduct of combustion.

To find more sources of carbon dioxide, you can refer to scientific research articles, environmental reports, or government agencies dedicated to studying climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, organizations such as the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compile data and reports on various emission sources, including carbon dioxide.
