    When you have an even number of data values you have to get the average of the two middle values instead.

    For example, median of the set of numbers
    {3,5,7,10,14,18}
    is 8.5, which is the average of the two middle numbers.
    The median of {1,4,9,13,16} would be 9, since 9 is the middle number.

    For your benefit, I interpret the data for team 1 as follows:
    {1,6,12,14,18,23,26,29}
    You can find the median in a similar way that I gave above.
