I have to write an essay on about why organ donation should be mandatory in Canada. I need help thinking of arguments.
Some that I have thought of are:
1. there is a shortage of organs for transplants
2. it improves the life of the recipient
3. After death organs can be of use to save the lives of others.
*I think arguments 2 and 3 are too closely related. What would be better
Some cons to think about:
1. Mandatory donation will no longer be a donation, it will be an obligation.
2. What do you think about the individual rights of citizens of Canada.
3. The need may be urgent, but will the organs of ALL Canadians be required?
