log(x+2)+log(x-3)=log(x+29)

Use the law of logarithms:

log(a)+log(b)=log(ab)
=>
log(x+2)+log(x-3)=log(x+29)
log((x+2)(x-3))=log(x+29)
=>
(x+2)(x-3)=x+29
x²-2x-35=0
(x-7)(x+5)=0
Solve for x, and reject any solution which will result in a negative argument to the log function.
