Should fragrances be allowed in schools?

I need 3-4 reasons for no. the only one that i can think of would be that people are allergic to it.
What are some other ones?

Fragrances bother a lot of people even though they are not technically allergic to them.

And what happens when several people are within a few feet of each other -- and each is wearing a different fragrance?? Ugghhh!

Let me add that in my own experience, sometimes a strong perfume/fragrance overpowers all other odors in the room that we may WANT to smell, like food aromas or things we may NEED to smell, like something on fire.

There are several reasons why fragrances may not be allowed in schools. Here are three additional reasons:

1. Distraction and Disruption: Fragrances can be overpowering and can cause distraction and disruption in the classroom. Strong scents can be very distracting for both students and teachers, affecting concentration, focus, and overall learning environment.

2. Allergic Sensitivities: Besides allergies, fragrances can trigger sensitivities and respiratory problems for some individuals, such as asthma or migraine sufferers. These sensitivities can lead to discomfort, difficulty breathing, headaches, and even serious health complications.

3. Inclusivity and Equal Access: It is important to create an inclusive and equal environment for all students. By prohibiting fragrances, schools help ensure that students who are sensitive or allergic to them can fully participate in daily activities without experiencing negative health effects or feeling excluded.

To find additional reasons, you can conduct research on the potential effects of fragrances in educational settings, such as studies on distractions and allergies, or read school policies that address fragrance usage. Gathering information from trusted sources will improve your understanding of this topic.
