DAMON,MS.SUE, SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME

IM SOO CONFUSED AND NOW IM GONNA FAIL AND BE A DISAPIONTMENT TO MY PARENTS

Oi, yo, before you scroll down any farther, let be tell you something, the answers are all different, so just search each question individually. I know, it's a pain, but at least you can get a good grade.

What are the first four terms of the sequence represented by the expression n(n-2)-3?

A. -5, -2, 1, 4
B. -4, -3, 0, 5
C.-3, 0, 3, 6
D. -2, 0, 2, 4

is it b

Math is not my strongest suit. I rather do History more than anything. :/

Here it is, :)

1-A (38, 49, 60)
2-A (2,048 bulbs)
3-B (-4, -3, 0, 5)
4-A (starts in between 20-30 and end between 50-40)
5-C (decreases 4 mi/h to 2 mi/h, increases to 6 mi/h in the next second)
6-A (24)
7-A (E(h) = 10h)
8-D (look on the left its 4/3;)
9-B (Dixie Hill; it rises three-fifths foot for every 1 foot of horizontal travel.)
10-B (The line in beneath the x line, it slants upword)
11-A (the top of the line go right through 4 and goes through 2)
12-A (y = 4 + 5x)
13-C (y = 3.50x + 6.00)
14-D (y = 0.95(x – 1) + 1.15)
15-C (y = 3x – 8)
16-D (y = x² + 5)
17-18 can be looked up on jiskha
19- is preferably looked up on brainly.
:) sorry I can't explain the graphs.

add 11 each time. You are correct.

Uh no lie ur a rat thanks a lot

Okay, okay, okay. I have gotten three incorrect here. Number 9 or the table that talks about the different hills are incorrect. It's actually the OTHER Liberty Hill option: Library Hill; it rises 3/4 foot for every 1 foot of horizontal travel.

Number 10 is actually C: The lowest like on the graph that is an increase.
Lastly, number 12 is also incorrect, this one is B: y=3+6x
The rest are correct. I hope I helped in SOME way. I am ready to relax. It's a rainy day, which I absolutely love. Have a good day!

Confuzzled..... Im guessing no one knows the answer??

This is for SC... :)

What are the next three terms in the sequence?
A. 38, 49, 60 <Explination: it goes up by 11. Add 11 to 27 and repeat.
B. 37, 47, 57
C. 36, 45, 54
D. 36, 46, 57

Geoff planted dahlias in his garden. Dahlias have bulbs that divide and reproduce underground. In the first year, Geoff's garden produced 8 bulbs. In the second year, it produced 16 bulbs, and in the third year it produced 32 bulbs. If this pattern continues, how many bulbs should Geoff expect in the sixth year?
A. 64 bulbs
B. 512 bulbs
C. 128 bulbs
D. 256 bulbs <Explination: 8+8=16, 16+16=32, 32+32=64, then repeat the same pattern.

What are the first four terms of the sequence represented by the expression n(n-1)-4?
A. -2, 2, 6, 10
B. -3, 0, 3, 6
C. -4, -2, 2, 8 <Explination: Plug in 1, 2, 3, and 4 for n then work out the 4 different problems.
D. -5, -4, -2, 6

(Paused here due to a class I had to attend for English. [Took an hour])

A car traveling at 46 mi/h slows to a speed of 23 mi/h in 5 seconds. It maintains that speed for 5 seconds and then slows to stop after 5 more seconds. Which graph shows the car's speed over time?
For this one I will only explain the correct answer:
It starts at 46 mi/h it slows DOWN to a speed of 23 mi/h in 5 seconds. Maintaining the speed of 23 mi/h for 5 seconds (a straight line). It FALLS (slows) to a stop. (I hope I explained that graph okay.)

From now on I will only place the answer, not all options. I don't know why I haven't done this yet.

Use the graph below to answer the question that follows.

A. The speed of the car decreases from 4 mi/h to 2 mi/h in the first 3 seconds, increases to 5 mi/h in the next 2 seconds, and then remains at 5 mi/h for the last 5 seconds.

Given the function rule f(x)= x^2-3x+2, what is the output of f(-2)?
D. 12 <Explination: Plug in -2 for x then do the equation. f(-2)=12

Suppose you earn $15 each time you mow the lawn. Which function describes the relationship between your total earnings E and the number of cars you wash, c?
B. E(c)=15c <Explination: For each car you wash, you earn $15. For one car is $15. How many cars did you wash? c...is the amount of cars you washed. So: 15c. The total earnings is E. So it would be E(c).

The data in the table illustrate a linear function.
x -3, 0, 3, 6
y -6, -2, 3, 6
What is the slope of the linear function? Which graph represents the data?
D. 4/3 <Explination: the change in y is 3 and the change in x is 4. Rise-over-run.

Which hill described in the table is the steepest? Explain.
Liberty Hill; it rises 4 feet for every 3 feet of horizontal travel. <I have NO explanation for this.

If I explain the questions, I will. I have been doing this for about 3-4 hours now. I am getting tired, sorry.

Which graph represents the linear function y= 1/3x-4?

D. y=6+3x

Max charges $3.50 per hour when he mows lawns, plus $6.00 for transportation expenses. Which function rule represents the amount y Max charges to mow lawns for x hours?
C. y=3.50x+6.00

The sale price of ground beef at a local grocery store is $1.49 for the first pound and $1.09 for each additional pound. Which function rule shows how the cost of ground beef, y, depends on the number of ounces, x?
B. y=1.09(x-1)+1.49

I am getting a lot more tired of my math test as time passes and I am placing my answers here. I won't type out the last 2 tables. I greatly apologize.

Which function represents the data in the table?
A. y= 3x-8

Which quadratic rule represents the data in the table?
C. y=x^2-5

I have decided not to do anything about the essay questions here. I wish you good luck. I will, however, submit my assignment and see if I got them correct. I will let you know. Thank you for bearing with me.
