If a country only exported products/services, would this be a good or bad thing?and vice versa?

What would you think would be the result if the U.S. only exported goods? Where would we get our bananas, petroleum, and many other goods? Check out this chart.

this is a good example, but in general. Reasons that would be applicable to all countries.

Do all countries have the resources to provide for all of their needs within their own borders? Think about it.

Can you think of any country that is entirely self-sufficient in what it grows or produces?
