Excellent resource: Go to your local library to find the TimeLife book

Foods of the World: The Cooking of Italy. It has recipes by region and a great description of the differences in regional cooking. You can easily print out a map from your computor and put every thing on it. <G> I just happen to have this book in my kitchen bookshelf.

thanks gurublue a big help thanks for taking the time to help

DONT DO IT, FOOL!

To research Italy, including a map and food by different regions, you can follow these steps:

1. Start by searching for "Italy map" on a search engine like Google. This will give you an overview of the country's geography and regions.

2. Once you have a map, you can explore the different regions of Italy and their unique cuisines. Italy is divided into 20 regions, each with its own distinct food culture. Some well-known regions for culinary delights are Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Sicily, and Campania.

3. For each region, search for traditional dishes and local foods. Look for authentic Italian recipes and information about the history and significance of each dish. You can use keywords like "traditional food in [region name]" or "famous dishes from [region name]."

4. To find recipes for pizzas, lasagna, and spaghetti bolognese, you can search for specific recipes online. There are numerous websites, cooking blogs, and YouTube channels dedicated to Italian cuisine. Use keywords like "authentic Italian pizza recipe," "traditional lasagna recipe," and "spaghetti bolognese recipe" to narrow down your search.

5. Make sure to select recipes that are reliable and well-rated by users. Check the ingredients and cooking instructions to ensure they align with your preferences and skill level.

6. Compile the information, map, and recipes you find into a comprehensive document or folder for easy reference. Organize it by regions, including the map, brief descriptions of the food culture, and the corresponding recipes you have collected.

Remember, Italian cuisine is diverse and has regional variations, so it's worth exploring beyond the popular dishes mentioned. Enjoy your research and cooking!
