Please help me simplify. I keep getting some weird answer.

3x^2(4x^3-2x^2+6x)-(x^5+5x^4-4x^3)+7x^5

For this question I got,

18x^5-11x^4+22x^3

Hope this helps!

Can you show me the steps how you got it.. it would help me alot

To simplify the given expression, you can start by distributing the 3x^2 across the terms inside the first parentheses:

3x^2 * 4x^3 = 12x^5
3x^2 * (-2x^2) = -6x^4
3x^2 * 6x = 18x^3

Next, distribute the negative sign across the terms inside the second parentheses:

-(x^5) = -x^5
-(5x^4) = -5x^4
-(4x^3) = -4x^3

Now, combine like terms:

12x^5 - 6x^4 + 18x^3 - x^5 - 5x^4 - 4x^3 + 7x^5

Simplify by combining the terms with the same exponent:

12x^5 - x^5 + 7x^5 - 6x^4 - 5x^4 + 18x^3 - 4x^3

Combine the like terms:

(12x^5 - x^5 + 7x^5) + (-6x^4 - 5x^4) + (18x^3 - 4x^3)

Simplify further:

18x^5 - 11x^4 + 14x^3

So, the simplified expression is 18x^5 - 11x^4 + 14x^3.
