You MUST use brackets to establish the proper order of operations.

the question was (2/3) ÷ (6/7)
= (2/3)(7/6) = 7/9

but if you type in your expression 2/3/6/7 into any modern calculator, which are designed to follow the correct order of operations, you will get .01587... which is NOT 7/9
