b) S 4x(x^2+3) dx

∫(4x^2+3)/x^2 dx

= ∫4 + 3x^-2 dx

And you know that ∫x^n = 1/(n+1) x^(n+1)

(b) is the same thing. Just expand into a polynomial, then integrate the powers term by term.

If you have no foundation in derivatives, it's curious that you've been assigned problems involving them. That would indicate that you have studied them at least a little bit.
