Which of the following passages from the text best supports the idea that Johnny Tremain may be changing?

A. He didn't really want to follow any trade but his own. He looked on soap-boilers, leather dresses, rope makers and such
B. "I'll come back alright- but not until I can tell you what a good job I've found myself"
C. the idea of slaughtering animals sickened him. He was a fine craftsman to the tips of his fingers-even to the tips of his maimed hand
D. He told about the burn, but with none of the belligerent arrogance with which he had been answering the questions kind people had put to him
Is it d?

The answer is D

I've never read this book. See what you think.

Are you in connections? I am having a tough time with chapter 1-2 the questions make it hard to understand which one is correct. In the QC I am stuck on all of the answers are in the book Seriously not following this story at all apparently :(

Thank you! does anybody else have an idea?

Clearly, in the three minutes between my first post and your following post, you haven't read through the website I linked for you.

Read, read, read ...

I am going to go check it out!! Connections is online school! I have read the two chapters and listened to youtube reading of them and the only thing messing with me is the fact more than one answer can be found in those chapters so maybe I should reread the questions..:) I just wanted my answers checked before I submitted them for this quick check but I will get it figured out. Good luck Anonymous

Thanks Michael! you too! Let me know what questions you have sand if you think you know my question

To me yours sounds like D but I haven't gotten that far yet. The reason I agree with that is how arrogant he originally was and this question ask how he changed so it really does sound like D

thanks Michael!

your welcome!
