On conflict of interest, when one is dealing with greed and corruption (as in the Georgia government then), it is difficult for me to justify it as a conflict of interest. Evil is just Evil.
The Creeks did have to turn over their land, as did the Spanish in what is now South Mississippi.

D. What does "led the way" mean? There were other government land frauds happening in Georgia, again, caused by greed. I am not certain the Yazoo scandal caused the later frauds, they were an outcome of greed and corruption again. Does one bank robbery lead to another? In my opinion, no.
