Darion needs 20 pieces of string 3/8 inch in length. He cut a 4 7/8 inch piece of string into pieces that are 3/8 of an inch long each. How many more pieces of string of string does he need?

    4 7/8 = 39/8

    (39/8) / (3/8)
    (39/8) * (8/3) = 312/24 = 13 pieces

    20 - 13 = ?

  5. If you change 4 7/8 that is 39/8
    39/8÷3/8
    KCF
    39/8×8/3= 312/24
    312÷24=13
    20-13=7
    so the answer is 7 more pieces
