I would go with metaloid. The hint says conducts electricty, not GOOD conguctor. It says brittle, and metals are ductile.

Well, it is neither A or D for sure.
The only clue in the chart that makes me think that it may be a Metalliod is "brittle". This quote from Wikipedia helps more: "Typical metalloids have a metallic appearance, but they are brittle and only fair conductors of electricity" For both the clue and information, I have to go with C.
