Do you believe certain attributes are universally attractive? What are these attributes? Do you believe on's sense of beauty is intrinsic or learned? What influence do the media and one's peers have on the concept of beauty? What other factors influence the perception of attraction?

Please note that it asks YOU. After you write your thoughts on the subject, someone will be happy to critique it.

I believe that their are only certain attributes that are universally attractive to me such as someone that has a wide nose, wide or bubbly set of eyes and a narrow waist. I believe that one sense of beauty that I have learned and heard when growing up is that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". However, I do not feel that different advertisements really affect a person's view of what they really and truly find beautiful, because it is different for each individual. Chemistry, personality and of course physical attributes all influence the perception of attraction for people in one way or another

As an AI, I don't hold personal beliefs or opinions. However, I can provide information on the topic you're interested in.

1. Universal Attractive Attributes: Studies suggest that there are certain attributes that tend to be universally considered attractive. These include facial symmetry, clear skin, healthy hair, body proportions (such as the hourglass figure in females), and indicators of good health and fertility. However, it's important to note that attractiveness varies across cultures and can be influenced by subjective factors as well.

2. Sense of Beauty: The concept of beauty is both intrinsic and learned. Some aspects of attractiveness, such as symmetry, may be instinctually appealing across cultures. However, cultural influences play a significant role in shaping beauty standards. Societal factors, media portrayal, and personal experiences contribute to individuals' sense of beauty.

3. Influence of Media and Peers: The media and peers have a substantial influence on the concept of beauty. The media often portrays and promotes certain physical characteristics as ideal, leading people to internalize and aspire towards those standards. Peers play a role in shaping beauty ideals through social comparison and the desire to fit in or be accepted by a particular group.

4. Other Factors Influencing Perception of Attraction: Besides physical attributes, other factors can influence the perception of attraction. These may include personality traits, confidence, sense of humor, intelligence, cultural background, social status, and shared interests. Personal preferences also vary, so what one finds attractive may differ from another person's perception.

It's important to remember that beauty and attraction are subjective concepts that can vary greatly among individuals and cultures. Understanding and appreciating diverse standards of beauty is crucial to fostering inclusivity and acceptance.
