What are some phrases a teacher can use to introduce himself/herself in French?

I'll send this to our French expert, SraJMcGin.

If you think this through in Engish, it would be much easier to tell you! This way, I can't think of much!

1. My name is... = Je m'appelle...

2. Let me introduct myself = je me présente

3. I am = Je suis...

4. My first name is = Mon prénom est...

5. I would like to introduce myself = Je voudrais me présenter...

NOTE: One would not begin with these because you MUST greet the person first! Bonjour, etc.

I'll flag this and return later to see if you had any other questions.

I am a French person so I know how to speak French.

Je m'appelle-my name is

Don't forget the accent because english people always get it wrong.

To introduce oneself as a teacher in French, you can use the following phrases:

1. "Bonjour! Je m'appelle [your name] et je suis votre professeur de [subject]." (Hello! My name is [your name] and I am your [subject] teacher.)
2. "Bienvenue dans ma classe! Je suis [your name] et je serai votre enseignant cette année." (Welcome to my class! I am [your name] and I will be your teacher this year.)
3. "Je suis ravi(e) de faire votre connaissance. Je m'appelle [your name] et je vais être votre professeur tout au long de l'année." (I am delighted to meet you. My name is [your name] and I will be your teacher throughout the year.)
4. "Je suis là pour vous aider à apprendre et à grandir. Je m'appelle [your name] et je serai votre professeur pendant le cours." (I am here to help you learn and grow. My name is [your name] and I will be your teacher during the class.)

Remember, it's always a good idea to adapt these phrases to your specific situation and teaching style. Additionally, make sure to practice your pronunciation and accent to sound more natural when introducing yourself in French as a teacher.
