A long distance swimmer, who is very cold, m=100 kg., 1000 kilocalories are supplied to warm them up. The specific heat for a human is 0.83. A) What will be the temperature change?

B) If the original temperature is 85 degrees, find the final temperature.

0.83 WHAT?

Is that supposed to be mass human = 100 kg.
Is that 85 C or 85 F

q = mass x specific heat x (Tfinal-Tinitial)
You know q is 1000 kcal. I would change that to calories.
You know mass is 100 kg. I would change that to grams.
I have no idea what unit 0.83 is but you need it in calories per gram per degree C. If it isn't you need to change the units above that to make it fit.
Your post is like asking me how much I weigh and I tell you 10. Do you know how much I really weigh? Of course not.
