if A 52 card deck of playing cards is shuffled, and one card is dealt from the top of the deck. What is the probability that it is a red ten?

52 cards in a standard deck. 13 Diamonds

13 Hearts all RED.

  1. Very straight-forward
There are 2 red tens, the 10 of hearts, and the 10 of diamonds
    so prob(red ten) = 2/52 = 1/26

Your last sentence makes no sense to me.
