Please help I am a little confused!!!!

Graph using the slope and y-intercept..
x + 3y = 9.

x + 3y = 9.

3y = -x + 9
y = (-1/3)x + 3

the y-intercept is 3, so plot the point (0,3) on the y-axis

the slope is -1/3, so the "rise" is -1 and the "run" is 3

from the y-intercept count 3 units to the right and 1 unit down for the point (3,2)

Join the two points with a line, done!

(notice the points (0,3) and (3,2) both satisfy your equation, so we are right)
