determine the follwing..

given that f(x)= -x + x^2 -x -3
find
a.f(-2)
b.f(1)
c.f(3a)

Substitute the vlue in side the ( ) for x in the function, and do the calculation. That's all there is to it.

The first one would be
-(-2) +(-2)^2 -(-2) -3 = 2 + 4 +2 -3 = 5

Are you sure you copied f(x) correctly? -x appears twice.
