the sum of three consecutive odd integers is 435. What is the largest of the three integers??how do I solve this problem?? Please help

    435/3 = ?

    let the first of the odd numbers be x
    then the next two odds are x+2, and x+4

    x + x+2 + x+4 = 435
    3x = 429
    x = 143

    so the largest is x+4 = 143+4 = 147
