You borrow bookcases like the one shown to display 943 books at a book sale. You plan to put 22 books on each shelf.

No books on top of the bookcases.

A. How many bookcases must you borrow to display all the books?

I got 8 book cases so far.

B you fill the shelves of each bookcase in order, starting with the top shelf. How many books are on the third shelf of the last bookcase

I meant is it nine book cases?

There would be 9 bookcases.

(if you use fractions)

Answer for A = 9 bookcases
943÷22 = 42 19/22 -> 43.
43÷5 = 8 3/5 -> 9 bookcases.
Answers for B
1st shelf = 22 books
2nd shelf = 22 books
3rd shelf = 19 books
4th shelf = 0 books
5th shelf = 0 books

The 19 from the 3rd shelf is from 43 19/22. Hope it helped :>
