one quick question? ~metaphors & similes~

is the phrase, "sway like a boat" a metaphor or a simile?
i think its a metaphor

  1. Similes always have "like" or "as" in them. Metaphors don't.

  4. When you're comparing two things (such as "sway LIKE a boat") and use key terms such as "like" or "as," it automatically becomes a simile because metaphors exclude these terms.
    Eg. "As brave AS a lion"
    Eg2. "Cold AS icecubes"
