5. Which of the following would be true during the inhalation phase of breathing?

A. The lungs are inflated, oxygen concentration is high, and carbon dioxide concentration is low in the alveoli.

B. The lungs are deflated, oxygen concentration is high, and carbon dioxide concentration is low in the alveoli.

C. The lungs are inflated, oxygen concentration is low, and carbon dioxide concentration is high in the alveoli.

D. The lungs are deflated, oxygen concentration is low, and carbon dioxide concentration is high in the alveoli.

My Answer - B or D

the answer is b since the lungs are full (inflated, not deflated) and you breath OUT carbon dioxide and breath in oxygen.

But B is also deflated?

The answer is A.

OH IM SO SORRY!

YES IT IS A!!!!!

Yes, A

If you're doubting check google, I'm positive that it's A.

Thank you both sooo much!

I only need help with one more question that I just posted if you were able to help me that would be great

Just to add my two cents' worth, I think the question is not clearly stated. I think it makes a difference WHEN. If this is at the START of the inhalation phase you have one answer or if it is at the END of the inhalation phase you have another answer.

Yes, confusing.
