How do you use reverse indentation when citing sources? Is there a specific rule about what is on each line?

Notice that each item in the list has its first line is about 1/2" farther left than the other lines. That's called a "hanging indent." You can set that up in your word processing program. Once you set it, then you just let the content of each item go where it goes. The hanging indent will take care of the rest.
