I got the molecular formula is NaHCO3+H2SO4=Na2SO4+CO2+H2CO3 and i got the total ionic formula is NaOH+H2CO2(aq)= Na2CO3 + HOH but i am having trouble finding the net ionic formula can you please help me thank you

  1. I suspect that is because molecular and ionic formulas have flaws in them (or they could be typos--in fact some appear to be typos).
    NaHCO3 + H2SO4 ==> NaHSO4 + H2O + CO2

    When we mix NaOH and H2SO4 we get the equation OH-(aq) + H+(aq) --> H2O(l) and if we mix H2CO3 and NaOH we get the equation 2OH-(aq) + H2CO3 --> 2H2O(l) + CO3-2(aq) Why aren't the two equations the same? ie only one mol of NaOH
