A chemist mixes two liquids together. The reaction produces a gas and a solid. According to the law of conservation of mass, what should the chemist observe when she compares the total masses of the substances before and after the reaction?  (1 point)

A.The masses are equal.

B.The masses are inconsistent.

C.The mass of the substances before the reaction is greater than the mass of the substances after the reaction.

D.The mass of the substances before the reaction is less than the mass of the substances after the reaction.

I think it's D.

  1. I disagree. Think about it.
    A(l) + B(l) --> gas
    Say A has a mass of 2 g and B has a mass of 2 grams (and they are liquids), what does the gas weigh? And how did you weigh it?

  12. If a=b+6= 859 then 859+1x89/B(B=60)Then it would equal About a radius from 5000-8000. So that was only the A answer explained, here's B: So AB+C (And by using the corresponding numbers for the letters in the alphabet it would be 3+3) =3/5=0+1-2=-1+5=4. (And being that a problem like this that can only be explained into an equation makes it longer. That was it, now C: So ABC=6x5=1/1=1 Makes the ABC into F1 (Combining the actual number answer to the corresponding letters), so it will be more simplified than a real equation, so this is more likely the answer. Last but not least there is D left: SO we start out with the D number and write it out in equation like: 5x10=50(x4)=120 + the corresponding number of G making it be 120/G. Figure this out and you get the number and subtract it by the corresponding number of Y 58 times and you have the answer.
