If you don't understand Jacks answer lemme tell you 1 is not a sum. So there are only 11 possible outcomes and 6 are even (2,4,6,8,10,12). So 6/11 is correct.

the evens are:
2 4 6 8 10 12 or 6 of them

so prob(even sum) = 6/11

(I did not include specific sets [such as 2,1] because they we're already listed just in different orders [1,2]) So, the possible sums are 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12. So out of these numbers, what's the probability an even number will be chosen? Well there are six even numbers and 5 odd numbers which means there is a 6/11 chance the number will be even and 5/11 that it will be odd. Hope you understand better!
