I'm extemely lost at some point, how do you solve this equation by using the inverse of the coefficient matrix and by echelon method

-x-8y=12
3x+24y=-36

    HEY, as we should have seen immediately, the second equation is a multiple of the first. THERE IS NO SOLUTION!!! They are the same line on a graph, no intersection.
    I think it was unfair to give you this problem at this point but anyway :(
